What to Expect

Initial Appointment

At our first appointment, my assignment is to listen. I want to understand your total vision and full expectations. In doing so, I will also ask plenty of questions that allow me to fully grasp this vision. Following up this first meeting, we will share images using Google Image so that I can visually interpret your creative vision.

Rough Estimate

I use what we discussed in our first appointment to create a rough estimate of the project costs. My estimates mostly include labor, as you have complete control of the costs incurred by fixtures and finishes.

Space Design

I have the ability to work closely with a designer/architect who can create and provide you with a 3-dimensional rendering of your space. This is completely optional, but strongly recommended, as it allows you and I to both be committed to a digitally rendered creative vision.

Estimate Review & Revision

The purpose of this meeting is to marry your budget with your creative vision. We will discuss the project in detail evaluating the most efficient ways to allocate your funds, giving you a clear financial path to your determined vision.

Deposit & Schedule

My schedule is always evolving and is usually 3-4 months booked out. Securing a start date as soon as possible is important and a deposit is part of that process. Once your deposit it received I usually schedule a phone call answering questions pertaining to the project time frame and pre-project expectations.

Partners

At this point in the process we are officially partners in your renovation journey. I believe communication is key in keeping the  process as stress-free as possible. I make myself available to you by phone as well as in person so that all your questions are answered withing a 24 hr. period. I will constantly keep you abreast of project update's and setbacks and include you on all necessary decisions.

Design & Build

Most of my projects include a portion of design and build. Many times design decisions made on paper don't always translate to real life. I fully understand this and am always willing to set aside the old adage, "time is money" for the sake of your satisfaction. Design tastes may also change during the renovation process and I try to accommodate those chances to the best of my abilities.

Billing

Most larger projects like kitchen and bathroom renovations include weekly billing. I email you a document that tracks payment history, balance, payment due date and amount. This document also includes general money allocations.

Final Walk-Through

This is by far my favorite part of the process. All our hard work culminates in your creative vision coming to life in front of our eyes. This is also a great time for me to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the final product.
